Server Rules
California State Roleplay Community Rules
General Rules
- Respect: Treat others with respect, kindness, and empathy. Harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.
- Language: Use respectful language. No cursing, hate speech, or explicit content will be allowed.
- No Spam: Refrain from spamming the chat with unnecessary messages or self-promotion. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but keep it to a minimum.
- No Advertising: Please do not use our server to promote external content, merchandise, or services without permission from the server administrators.
Roleplay Rules
- Active Roleplay: Participate in scenes and storylines regularly. Inactivity for an extended period may result in character deletion or removal.
- Stay in Character: When in a scene, stay in character as much as possible. If you need to take a break, let others know and step out of character.
- Respect Other Players' Characters: Treat other players' characters with respect and care. If you have conflicts or issues, discuss them with the character owner or a server administrator.
- No Character Manipulation: Refrain from controlling another player's character without their consent. If you need assistance or need to take over a scene, communicate with the player beforehand.
- No Meta-RP: Avoid discussing meta-game information outside of designated areas, such as character backstories or plot twists.
Server Management
- Moderators and Administrators: Our moderators and administrators are here to help. They may intervene in cases of rule breaking, conflict resolution, or other issues.
- Server Etiquette: Follow basic server etiquette, such as introducing yourself, asking before sharing personal content, and staying organized.
- Server Clean-up: Regularly clean up old channels, threads, or posts. Help keep the server looking tidy and organized.
Consequences
- First Warning: A verbal warning, usually given in a private message or direct message.
